When it comes to health and safety, we never cut corners. At the start of every project we implement a Safe Management System (SMS) comprising:

The client’s safety requirements.
All statutory requirements.
Best industry practices.
A fire safety plan.

The system ensures everyone understands the need for best health and safety practice at all times throughout the project. Before a project starts all members of the new team read and sign a statement to say they fully understand the risk assessment issues on the project.

We carry out Toolbox talks (inductions) to prepare new members when they join a project. During their induction they are made aware of the conduct required of them to protect themselves and the site.

All tools are PAC-tested every month or before each new project starts. In addition, we check that any dangerous substances we source have been assessed under the COSHH regulations. We also submit these details in all our project bids.

At Pace we know that Health and Safety requirements evolve almost every day. That’s why we appointed The Health and Safety People to review our SMS and ensure we continue to enhance our project management skills on your behalf.
